Dr. Brenda Hankinson is a lifelong Georgian, UGA alum, and nutrition specialist running for office to take on corruption and fight for a state government that works for all of us.
After careers in academia, agricultural extension work, and the pharmaceutical industry, I'm running because I believe working families deserve an economy that works for them -- not just those at the top.
State Senate District 47 covers Athens-Clarke, Barrow, Jackson, and Madison counties. Early voting is from October 13th to 30th, before Election Day on November 3rd. Check your registration here!
